Dolores Huerta

Dolores Huerta, the Co-Founder of the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA) and the voice that launched ¡Sí, Se Puede! – is a relentless leader who, in spite of the misogyny she has faced within the NFWA, uses the tool of organizing to ensure that people of color register to vote. She led the Delano Grape Strike and fights for health care and unemployment benefits for farm workers.

The work Dolores Huerta and the NFWA have led was possible because they organized their friends and community to make something significant happen.
